iRacing

I only got a small taste of it last season but I loved the car. The racing is close and intense. Chaos has been common (for me anyway, down in the lower splits) but it feels like you can recover so much easier with the FWD and keep racing. Just an appreciation post mainly.

Anybody else still love this car?

I like racing in some of the low participation series on iRacing (Kamel GT, GT Challenge, Mission R, etc.) I wanted a site where folks could reference the SoF race times for their favorite series, and with a short URL that would be easy to share in iRacing text chat or even verbally. So I came up with “when race?” I used the list compiled in the forums by Ellis Spice as a starting point and will continue to evolve it as time goes on.

What has everyone been racing this week? I jumped back into some ovals, I'm going for my C licence so I can race some Street Stocks whenever they go to a road course, so much fun

Hey all, so in season 2 2023 I mainly raced F4 and had a really good time.

Season 3 rolled around and I bought the new LMP3 and have had a lot of fun with that as well.

I'm currently off this week from both series, but i'm curious what others think of the two cars.

Obviously, they're a bit different, but after driving F4 on Laguna Seca, I had a huge draw to go back to f4.

So I had manly driving tin tops on Laguna Seca. I found the turns to be very flowy and took a while to get used to.

But man are they fun in F4. I'm assuming the down force is the cause of the added fun. Penultimate turn is super fun.

Next week should be a fun week.

I've been working on tuning my OpenVR recording settings.

I shouldn't have followed so close at the start :(

F3 at Interlagos

Its a new season and a new place to talk about iracing! What is everyone's plans? I have been racing ir04 for the last few season so I've decided to switch it up and try gt4 in the Merc. Its taking some getting used to the much bigger vehicle and I keep instinctively pressing my tear off button but I'm having a lot of fun
