As per my comment to the above post, this is incorrect, the value of support sent by the US to Ukraine is around $88 billion, however this number is deceptive as a large percentage of it is not direct dollars sent, rather dollar value in equipment, of which the majority was already sitting in boneyards and stockpiles waiting to be decomissioned some years later. This equipment has already been replaced in active duty by newer models or different systems. Another component, USAI (Ukraine Security Assistance Initiative), is where the US alots a certain amount of money that Ukraine can use to purchase equipment from US manufacturers, albeit at domestic rather than export rates. Therefore, it re-enters the economy, and the difference is somewhat reduced.
