Wouldn't that have to get implemented on Lemmy's side first? Voyager doesn't add any hurdles to the regular login process.
No it would be implemented by the app. The purpose is to increase security so in case someone gets ahold of your phone while itโs unlocked, they wouldnโt be able to open Voyager and get access to your account.
I see the value, but I suspect this isn't a feature Voyager needs because the only apps that have that feature are password managers, banking apps, and Telegram/Signal
that is, apps that are end-to-end encrypted and privacy-focused.
Yeah good point, I agree it's more important in those types of apps, but it would be nice to have.
