would be funny to have a controller that's like 3x the size of the console.
I've never considered getting this running on PC or otherwise. I suppose since it's for xbox, the controller is just USB (with weird plug). However, does it need some sort of mapping or do all the xbox controllers report as xinput or dinput?
Did a bit of digging, and I think this is a non-starter still. xemu is the preferred emulator for OG xbox in emudeck, and it can't emulate past the intro of Steel Battalion. Sorry, bud.
Ah man that's a huge bummer. Thanks for checking in on that. Hopefully it'll get there!
I've done some other xemu emulation for Deck and over all it's pretty solid. Minor stuttering in Ninja Gaiden Black, but it's completely playable
They are constantly improving it, so I have hope. Last September I tried running Unreal Championship 2 on the deck via xemu, and it played like a power point when I was in a match. I tried revisiting that again this past week and it’s significantly better, with only a slight stutter here and there. Give it another few months and you may be pleasantly surprised.
