This is where you come to post big-brained hot takes by chuds, libs, or even fellow leftists, and tear them to itty-bitty pieces with precision dunkstrikes.

Rule 1: All posts must include links to the subject matter, and no identifying information should be redacted.

Rule 2: If your source is a reactionary website, please use archive.is instead of linking directly.

Rule 3: No sectarianism.

Rule 4: TERF/SWERFs Not Welcome

Rule 5: No ableism of any kind (that includes stuff like libt*rd)

Rule 6: Do not post fellow hexbears.

Rule 7: Do not individually target other instances' admins or moderators.

Hayao Miyazaki vs Junji Ito is my favorite meme too, but you don't see me going around generalizing it.

I think this does a disservice to Miyazaki. He's a snob and you can criticize the writing quite easily, but he at least appreciates the connection of animation to one's experience of life rather than as an abstract exercise in pleasant stimulation.

A malevolently bad map

I don't like those Balkanization fantasy maps either.

A seething, unstructured, arythmic thing that made you feel weird, sapped your energy, set off a downward spiral, confused your mind, spat on beauty, mocked the very concept of values and enfeebled life itself? That is not bad art. That is a Great Old One.

Do they consider the abstract artists who were backed by the CIA art? That's really the main thing this makes me curious about.

ART CANNOT BE QUANTIFIED. Whatever joyless turd made this chart needs their soul examined.
