I always want to post these funny witty relatable things on social media but that's such a defeatist message to put out there, filling my loved ones' feed with my own bullshit issues,

No instead I make no mention whatsoever of my struggles on social media. I deal with them silently. My happy moments are few and far between I post on social media but it is always amazing

and no one ever comments or responds anyway so really what is the point of any of this,

I deleted everyone from my Instagram so I am at

zero followers and

zero people following me now.

makes me feel cleansed. I can put my focus elsewhere.

Social media is mostly bullshit anyway, at least IMO. It's just designed to make us depressed so we buy more stuff. I use Lemmy as an outlet for these memes precisely because I know I'm not annoying my loved ones or making them worry about my mental health. Some of this humor only other people with bp or mental illness will understand. If you feel like posting memes, they will be very welcome here!
