Honestly, yes. They are stopping moderation, HOWEVER we closed down the subreddit entirely. Thus the sub should be considered non existent. Wouldn't that be some evidence to bring down hell on reddit?
Found a script (extension; Nuke Reddit History), to erase my comment history on reddit. Has to be run multiple times if you have a lot of comments. (apparently it was removed from firefox and chrome, so i'm using Edge... but hey, if it gets the job done... i think it can do posts too, but am not at that stage yet. First, comments. as deleting a post doesn't erase the comments you typed there.
