SA was a huge part of my adolescence. It still wasn't great but it was probably the only system i know that had a true community feel to it

Relaxed section for discussion and debate that doesn't fit anywhere else. Whether it's advice, how your week is going, a link that's at the back of your mind, or something like that, it can likely go here.

It appears to still be around. I have just now heard about it. Are you still active there?
Not in a long time. I wound up drifting away for a multitude of reasons
When I first heard about it I was in high school, and even though $10 is nothing for the return in value, I had never paid for anything online at that point and was apprehensive about it.
GameFAQs was my jam. As good as any forum that ever existed. In my limited view, it was the best.
I never joined somethingawful but I spent a good chunk of my middleschool and high school years posting on small message boards and some bigger ones. It was always a fun experience and there was a semblance of community. Honestly even reddit in the earlier days had a huge sense of community and in the smaller subreddits you would recognize some names.
My husband is pretty active there still.
Wow, I honestly didn't even know it was still around! Maybe I'll poke my head back in. I used to play Eve back when SA had a big presence on there. It has been over a decade.
I wasn’t a poster, but I will never forget the terrible secret of space. I remember lying in bed trying to read that to my partner through tears of laughter.
Pak chooie unf.
I was active in FYAD back in the day when moot was just another shitposter and hadnt invented 4chan yet 👴
Do you have stairs in your house?
I'm protected
I miss it to, SA was the precurser of internet culture and was a fun place to post. I feel like the modern internet has been a bit sanded down.
Only lurk there for Goonswarm thing back in the day when I was playing on Eve Online.
