This was made using the book "Pokemon Haken" by Sabrina Somers.

There's a rubber coated wire in the tail to allow for bending it any way you'd like. The eye and nose are felt pieces I painfully stitched on (pricked my finger 3 times).

Hope my nephew likes it! We're off to his birthday party.

I'm still going to do Little Bitty's costume photo shoot. Just a day late 😭

y'all have probably all long known this, but it's kinda blowing my mind right now so I wanted to share 🤯 the way they drape is also worlds apart:

Right now, I'm working on a witch costume for Little Bitty. I'm about to make a bunch of little yellow stars to attach

He is really into Lego Rock Raiders so I wanted to make something that kinda references it, but is still subtle enough to wear to work :D

This was my first time steam blocking Acrylic Yarn, it makes such a difference!!! The finished scarf got super soft and flowy, none of that creaky stiff crochet feeling left haha

I'm still working on this bat lace bag using a much bigger thread and hook than recommended. I'd love to see what everyone else is working on!

How do I tell her it's going to be a bag?

Husband sent me this pic that he found on the site formerly known as Twitter. I'm impressed that they either found sock yarn/#10 thread in dayglo yellow, or that they used basic cotton thread and found dayglo yellow fabric dye.

my first amigurumi with color switching! there are a lot of small mistakes on this one, but i think the overall quality is an improvement over my previous amigurumi.

maybe its because the shape is more complex than i've tried before, but it baffles me that i made this with my hands from nothing but yarn, stuffing, and safety eyes.

pattern is free on complicated knots's youtube channel

ok the title is a little bit of a lie, i made a tiny jellyfish before this but the that was like 10 tiny rows so it doesn't count.

i love this guy! i learned a lot about how to improve my technique while making him, and i'm just really stoked with how he ended up. his eyes are a little wonky and the tension in the tentacles is all over the place, but i can write that off as personality lol. i was also pleasantly surprised with how the variegated yarn looks in a finished piece.

this pattern is free on ravelry: hubble the squid

My first project, I love it so much but I did something wrong with the magic rings as they keep unraveling 🙈
