  • Leaked a few days ago, the new handheld from ANBERNIC has been officially confirmed with its name: RG40XX H.

  • It features a4" IPS full-laminated display, 5G Wifi module, Bluetooth connectivity, HDMI out and Moonlight streaming capability. The exact CPU model is rumored to be Allwinner H700.

  • It has a rounded look compared to ANBERNIC's previous designs like the 353 series.

  • Available in three colours: black, grey, and blue, with LED joysticks that can select from over 16 million color options. This might not be practical, considering only about 25 different color settings would have been sufficient.

  • Expected to support emulation for games from PSP, Dreamcast, and N64 consoles, potentially at a price under $99. The official pricing has yet to be announced.

What do you think of ANBERNIC's decision to continue with their naming pattern or would you prefer them to adopt something more distinctive?

You are not the judge as to what is or what is not a "real argument".

If you ignore half of what I say, I can only assume your points.

An appmay boot up in 5 seconds but android devices and iOS do not. I go from power off to gaming in 5 seconds.

True. But if your argument for buying this thing is that it turns on faster than a phone, id say that's a stupid reason to spend money. Especially when most people keep theirs on 99% of the time they own it.

But look who is talking about ignoring previously made points... I repeat, I like to keep my phone off when at my leisure and I prefer not the drain the battery for frivolous activities, especially when traveling.

I actually addressed your point earlier, you should read what I write rather than skimming it, I said that both a phone and a controller have better battery life than this thing (which only has 2 to 7 hours of battery in one charge). Carrying a charger or a battery pack is a cheaper and a lot more practical.

What is the point of buying a device with the functionality of a modern phone if you don't want to use it? it's such an easy problem to solve and instead you turn to buying/carrying superfluous devices. If you just wanted a phone with incredible battery life and no functionality, buy a 3310... It's cheaper too.

It plays the systems that I want, hence why I purchased it. You are under no obligation to do so.

I asked why people are buying these things when your phone can do it all and more for free, and so far your answers are pretty dumb. It's a fair question and reasons such as, 'I like keeping my phone off instead of using it, despite the fact that my phone can out perform this device in everyway'; is such a bad argument. You are worried about it running out when you're travelling so you turn it off; that will ensure you won't miss any emergency calls or messages!

I'm still not sure why this device and others like it have you so agitated.

Oh, so I am agitated now, don't project your feelings onto me, you're upset because I am making good points. Personally I couldn't give a shit about these things, but calling you an idiot for buying one is very entertaining.
