It just means they don't want to expend the little effort it takes to do pattern scanning looking for cheaters.

Easy way to catch shooter cheaters: they move faster, they aim faster, they fire faster, they look at an enemy through a wall for x amount of seconds while one or both are moving, they don't touch the ground for long long periods of time etc.

Why do all that when Windows players will simply let you root around in their kernel?

They’re just going with the cheapest shittiest option for detecting cheaters.
