Biden did appoint Lina Kahn as chair of the FTC. Kahn has long been vocal that Amazon needs to be broken up.

And in doing so he has basically destroyed the FTC because she's in no way qualified or good enough for that job, and she has mishandled the entire business since taking over. The staff turnover since she took over has been atrocious, with many pointing the blame directly at her for them leaving.

I disagree. We'll see how it turns out.

I'm certainly unsurprised and even encouraged that she's running some of the "do nothing, good ol boys" out of the FTC. The old version was worthless. Why should we worry of she "destroys" it?

Well they weren't more worthless than the current FTC under her, that's for sure. She's picking fights she can't win and has no legal basis to win on. The way she's going the government is more likely to give the FTC even less power than more power.

They were totally worthless before though. Totally. They are no worse off now. I believe you're wrong on that.
