Can I keep the status bar visible while using Jerboa? (lemmy.ml)

Not 100% sure that's the right terminology, but it would be nice to be able to keep an eye on the time and my notifications and battery level while using this app without having to pull down the notification shade or go home

Really small thing I can live without, but if there's a way to do that I'd love to know

Edit; I think these two users figured out my issue in this thread, thanks to both of them!

Also running on a Samsung, although its Android 12 oneUi 4.1.... This issue of the status bar having black txt using the dark theme, was apparent in ver 0.0.29, but haven't noticed anything of the like, since ver 0.0.30..
