They can do this at age 18.

You cannot expect to control a legal adults account.

The surprise is that it doesn't automatically occur.

Again, I point out I wasnt aware at what age they were able to change account status.

I also didn't say anything about controling legal adults. I did suggest talking with them though. You know. Like adults do.

Sure talk to them but a parent should be ding that before the child turns 18. It should be part of the discussion around why restrictions are in place.

"The world is full of terrible people" isn't a discussion to save for adulthood.
