Also keep in mind people drank like fish until fairly recently, so...
i mean this is probably true to some small degree but if I went back in time I would just be kind of above average... and probably very tall depending on how far back you go
Oh, I'd be tall as shit. Probably look alright. Bit of chub, all my teeth, no disfiguring scars.
I'd also have no interest in dressing to conform, though, which in some cultures did a lot to cover up the physical differences that made one person more or less physically desirable than another.
The people I'd be competing with in Victorian England are all wearing the same corsets and bonnets, and everything else covered by several layers of cloth of varying severity. Of course I'd look acceptable in the british version of a burqa.
Depicting yourself as anyone other than a person of your exact sex in your exact station was punishable by anything from a hefty fine to death, depending on the place and era, so even without the personality, I wouldn't be tall for very long.
