With every available Doctor Who episode and its wife coming to BBC iPlayer on November 1, how should you approach a Classic and NuWho rewatch? We have options...

You must ABSOLUTELY start with Series 1, Serial 4 - Marco Polo.

The show by that time has really found its footing. Without seeing that, none of the rest makes sense, so it’s not even worth bothering. Don’t settle for the audio or book versions, it’s video or nothing.

Oof - I'm quite happy with recons but for some that would be a tough call... :p

Also you'd miss out on the first Dalek adventure. It's not the best maybe but it's probably the story that saved the show and gave it mainstream appeal.

I am a big fan of 60s historicals though and Marco Polo is where the first TARDIS crew feel like a unit.

There’s a very particular reason I chose that specific serial.

More likely a Tardis given the current state of that serial.
