So i have a cable router at my home and I wanted to move to my other room but I would have to connect the coaxial cable to a different one that goes upstairs and that one I would have to connect to a different coax cable that goes to my desired destination. I was wondering if it is possible anf would I loose a lot of signal since there would be 2-3 cable joints involved. It is the only way to do it since the house is really old

If you are only interconnecting coax cables with F81 barrel connectors, it shouldn't cause a problem. Cable modems have a wide signal operating range.
