Not sorry to hear Bunting, Holl sign elsewhere. Sad to see O'Reilly, Acciari, Schenn signing elsewhere, but I didn't think we could afford them anyway. Looking forward to training camp I guess? (lemmy.ca)

That's a fair point, even if he was at the table, all of the Leafs scouting reports and recommendations would have been set already, so I shouldn't judge him too much on the Cowan pick, course if it works out that also means he gets no credit lol
