I suspect Labour will need to lose another election before they get the message this isn't a popular idea.

We asked in our latest Newshub Reid Research poll: Would you support the Government introducing a wealth tax? A clear majority, 53.1 percent, said yes, while just 34.7 percent opposed it.

Was that the exact question though? And how much did the respondents know about the proposal besides that question?
