Started "Science of Disc world vol 1" yesterday. Got halfway through it before putting it aside. Up to where I read it would have been more accurately labelled as "Science of roundworld with some occasional Discworld asides.

If you have limited exposure to science generally and physics in particular then definitely worth a read, but given all the science lectures in it were stuff I was familiar with I got quickly bored.

Excellent roundworld basic science primer but up to chapter 7 not enough Discworld 4/10

So I grabbed " Mort" (Pratchett's 4th book, and the one where he starts to settle into it) and reread that. As always a solid, entertaining read. 7/10

Not sure what to read today, I have some good non fiction waiting for me, but I'm sick & bed ridden so not sure tge brain will work well enough. Another pratchett ? Reread Douglas Adams ? Not sure
