Welcome to today’s daily kōrero!

Anyone can make the thread, first in first served. If you are here on a day and there’s no daily thread, feel free to create it!

Anyway, it’s just a chance to talk about your day, what you have planned, what you have done, etc.

So, how’s it going?

I'm not a fan of cooked banana, but that doesn't sound too far from the childhood campfire food where you stuff a banana with chocolate, wrap in tinfoil and cook on the campfire.

Oh no, that means you wouldn't like whole deep fried banana fritters! I could go for one of those right now 🤤

The stuffed banana also sounds good

Cooked banana isn't something I can't eat, I'll eat most foods. But I just don't really enjoy it. Whole deep fried banana doesn't sound appetising to me, but I like banana pancakes or banana muffins, even though that's technically cooked banana.

Ah you're missing out man, if you're ever in southeast asia get yourself some Pisang Goreng to try. Really nice when freshly cooked!

I've spent a bit of time in Malaysia and Indonesia and don't recall ever seeing it! I think I might like it if the batter:banana ratio is right 🙂
