So there's this kebab place close to where I leave that never makes a receipt.

It doesn't even accept electronical payments, obviously.

My country (Italy) is going to shit thanks to people like this, so I'm thinking to report him, since I would like that Austria didn't go down that path too.

How would one proceed? Would they even check the place?

Would be better you think how YOU can work more in order to earn more and pay more taxes.

I don't understand what you mean, I pay my taxes, why should I work more to pay more of them?

About the earnings... They have tables and seats outside where people order more elaborate foods and I counted at least 5 different employees. And they are located next to a high traffic road.

I suspect that they make more than 15000 euros per year.

Denouncing small businesses is just a bad time investment. You do not know the business and you do not have prove.

Be rest assured that Austria has more then enough government employees who check businesses thoroughly.

Of course you are totally free to spend your time and energy as you please.
