Is voyager cache shared with my browers cache? (lemmy.world)

If i view a post/image etc in voyager after I've installed it as a web app on android, does it get shared and cached with my chrome cache? I've not yet worked it out.

YouTube links open in the YouTube app which is a bit annoying as I've been used to RIF.

Yep, it is. It's really just a browser tab, that looks like it's a standalone app.

Also, on Samsung phones, the cache/engine is the Samsung Internet browser, not Chrome.
