Final Fantasy 7, 8, 9, 10, and 12 are also on Switch and are very good too.

True! Out of those I’d recommend 7 or 10 for your very first. 6, 7, 10 are probably most generally regarded as the best. I personally like all of them and you can’t go wrong tbh
