If we're lucky, Steamdeck verified will also mean it'll run fine on linux.

With a quick Google search it already does with the Epic version, though it's maybe a little janky (which I expect to remain). Valve created Proton, but you can use it outside of Steam.

It’s not like you can’t use proton/wine with Epic
