I agree. But I think this an OK idea, until someone makes this with a FOSS platform, in the fediverse. Choices are good.

If their goal is to prevent AI trainers from scraping their art then an open federated platform is the opposite of what they want.

I tried to get a statement from pixelfed when it came to AI and content scraping but there has not been any replies yet.
