I've been thinking about how Coles has introduced an egg buying limit due to bird flu and what it's doing to cattle in the states.

We'll probably end up with vegan diets, not because it's the right thing to do, but because we completely destroy animal products through factory farming

Yeah. I'm not vegan (because my body can't tolerate a lot of the staple foods you need to stay healthy on a vego diet). But factory farming is cruel, excessive and leads to high density environments that mean serious problems with containing outbreaks and zoonosis. I'd rather things dial down a little and people eat less meat than whatever the hell this is.
