As soon as there's money involved, everybody loses their convictions. My question though is: why does Saudi Arabia recognise the importance and opportunity of eSports, but the west doesn't? Saudi Arabia can get involved because there aren't other countries and companies taking eSports seriously. A bunch of old dude still think that physical sports are the main industry and will be forever, but gaming makes more money than the entire filming industry and sports industry combined.
