My MiL planted a seed from some fruit she had eaten. It kind of looks like a mango to me, but several of the leaves are conjoined. Any ideas?

The app I use (PictureThis) says it is a Spanish Lime

Could just be a mutation. The no conjoined leaves look very mango like.

It's a mutation. It happens sometimes with my cannabis plants in the early stages of growth. I believe it's know as a duck foot mutation.

Mango seeds are quite distinctive, so if she remembers planting it but just doesn't remember the fruit it came from, perhaps it is something other than mango.
