Please not Harris, she cannot win...

AOC

Michelle Obama

Buzz?

Please don't cop out and default to Harris that's 2016 all over again...

Harris is the only candidate that has access to the existing campaign funds. As AOC pointed out, there are only eight weeks until early voting ballots are sent out. That’s not enough time for someone other than Harris to fundraise and run a successful campaign unless the candidate is independently wealthy.

I don’t want Harris, but she is a significant step up from Biden in terms of age and representing the people of the USA. Also, I’d vote for a flaming dumpster floating down river over Trump so Harris is just a bonus.

All things possible? I want Whitmer/Bootyjudge.

She can win, imo, especially with a compelling VP pick. I’m not especially excited for her, but fuck it, this is an improvement in our electoral prospects.

I mean any non geriatric has a better chance. She's not likeable, and gives seriously entitled Hilary vibs. Also I don't feel like she accomplished anything as vo (that I know of). Just angry speeches...

VPs are always without any real accomplishment.

[–] [email protected] 0 points 3 months ago* (last edited 3 months ago)

Yup. They have effectivly no role in goverment past "have pulse" and "be tie breaker in senate."

She can lean on the admins accomplishments by reinforcing what's been done already, and point back to her days as a senator and a prosecutor for the law and order types.

She's got chops for this.

Angry word salad speeches at that

Hillary might be available

Clever and original.

Big Gretch with the buffs. Gavin can be her #2

[–] [email protected] 0 points 3 months ago (1 children)

I think it'd be fine to keep her on the ticket as VP for a compromise. That way at least there's some continuity.

It's Harris

[–] [email protected] 0 points 3 months ago (2 children)

No way she can win to many sexist and racist people in this country. I will vote for her if she is on the ticket but I Don’t believe enough people will. This going be a slaughter. The GOP base will be more energized than ever to vote against Harris and the youth will not be energized Harris is dull and has done nothing to pull any votes towards her. Democrats once again rather take facsiest than run a progressive candidate.

Hillary didn't lose by that much. And she is completely unlikable. And a former President's wife. I don't think that helped her. Kamala does not have that baggage.

She can win against Trump if she has a good running mate. Because she will own him in a debate.

[–] [email protected] 0 points 3 months ago

Hillary also covered up her husband's bullshit and had a decades long campaign against her by the Rs. Kamala doesn't have that baggage either.

She'll have to come out swinging, but she's got a shot.

[–] [email protected] -3 points 3 months ago

Gender and race has nothing to do with it. She's a horrible person, she couldn't even win a primary in her home state.

[–] [email protected] 0 points 3 months ago* (last edited 3 months ago) (1 children)

Hell yeah! Here's to hoping they choose a strong candidate!

[–] [email protected] 0 points 3 months ago (1 children)

I’d walk ten miles in the snow to vote for three midgets in a trench coat running against Trump.

[–] [email protected] 0 points 3 months ago

THIS should be the main thought for everyone.

I don't care who they'll choose. If Americans are not out there and voting AGAINST Trump, I'll lose all hope for you.

Another Trump presidency will affect the whole world negatively and will give validation and traction to hateful nationalists everywhere.

Hillary and Hunter, that is the ticket to cause the Gop heads to explode

[–] [email protected] 1 points 3 months ago* (last edited 3 months ago)

Thing is, it wouldn't drive too much turnout since the left isn't really about trying to "own the chuds".

[–] [email protected] 0 points 3 months ago

Jon Stewart / Katie Porter ticket would get my vote 1000%
