Example:

  1. Articles must be relevant to politics. Links must be to quality and original content. Articles should be worth reading. Clickbait, stub articles, and rehosted or stolen content are not allowed. Check your source for Reliability and Bias here.

"I'm not the guy to get political information from," Rogan said in a social media post.

One of the most accurate things he's ever said... but still not quite perfect.

"I'm not the guy to get ~~political~~ information from," Rogan said in a social media post.

FTFY

Isn't that his whole schtick? "Don't listen to me, folks. I'm just the meathead asking questions."

[–] [email protected] 11 points 2 months ago

I don't think he's ever had a plan - so while that's his schtick, I don't think it's like a smokescreen or anything. He's just some dumbass who wanted to start a show to interview interesting people and smoke weed. But, when you're interviewing fringe political figures, racists, snake oil salesmen, etc. you have a journalistic duty that Joe Rogan: dumbass, was not prepared for and didn't understand. Now he's in over his head. People take him seriously, and he agrees with some of the crazy people he's brought on because he's a dumbass

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 months ago

Yeah he is basically just JAQing off.

[–] [email protected] 4 points 2 months ago

In fact, you're safe to believe the opposite of whatever bullshit this moron is spouting.

[–] [email protected] 151 points 2 months ago (2 children)

Joe rogan believes and supports whatever the last thing he heard

[–] [email protected] 47 points 2 months ago (3 children)

His only strongly held conviction is that he likes whatever it is you like

That's fantastic

[–] [email protected] 76 points 2 months ago (1 children)

He's not the guy to get ANY information from. Backbone of an eclair, that one.

[–] [email protected] 6 points 2 months ago (2 children)

Many people will say "well, he's at least an expert on combat sports"

No, he's not really. Most MMA practitioners will say that while he helped legitimise the UFC, MMA in general, and the rise of BJJ his takes are often from a point of either company bias, or personal bias. He's got two black belts in BJJ and has experience in striking, but dude's old enough that he'd probably get annihilated by a young purple belt, and aside from TKD he's not completed in combat sports at a high level.

He respects it, and that's great to see, but IMO he's an example of the alpha male attitude that plagues combat sports.

[–] [email protected] 3 points 2 months ago (6 children)

The fuck after you talking about? His knowledge of mma has nothing to do with how well he can compete against other people at his age.

Your comment comes across as idiotic. Because it effectively says coaches arent worth the job they do because they are almost always people who couldnt or can no longer compete.

Such a dumb take. Theres plenty of reasons not to listen to Joe, stop making bad arguments to justify your opinions. Especially when your opinion isnt flawed ---> He respects it, and that's great to see, but IMO he's an example of the alpha male attitude that plagues combat sports.

What a manly brave man with strong values.

[–] [email protected] 6 points 2 months ago

Who stands by his convictions

[–] [email protected] 5 points 2 months ago

He's got a wet paper towel for a backbone. He's just try-hard "choose me" man-Stacey

[–] [email protected] 38 points 2 months ago

Rogan is the great litmus test for our society. He's what a stupid person thinks a smart person is, just like how Trump is what a moron thinks a rich, successful person is.

So obviously such a complete dope grifter for anyone with an IQ greater than their shoe size, and yet he serves a purpose by being the standard of who should bother to talk to in life. If anyone you know says "you know, Joe Rogan said something interesting the other day...", well - then you know you can nod politely, and ignore everything that person saiys going forward.

His $100m Spotify payday didn't reduce his natural instinct to whore himself shamelessly because it's not about the money, it's about endless submission and being a spineless lil bitch

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 months ago

It's mysterious how Spotify has so much money to give him, yet can't offer lossless audio or pay artists well.

[–] [email protected] 31 points 2 months ago

It's not like we didn't know that Rogan was a weak-willed individual to begin with.

[–] [email protected] 27 points 2 months ago (1 children)

Man. News Radio was so good. I wish Phil Hartman was still here.

[–] [email protected] 11 points 2 months ago (3 children)

It really is crazy how well that cast worked together. Even Andy Dick was tolerable!

[–] [email protected] 7 points 2 months ago (1 children)

We went to the tapings a few times and Joe would do the crowd warmup before the show. I remember him saying, "I just flew in from the Million Man March, and boy is my hatred of white people tired," and i think we should have seen maga coming. Off topic- we ran to our car that night because we were being chased by a man who was screaming, "hey, got any money?" That was kinda scary.

[–] [email protected] 3 points 2 months ago

Ugh, that “joke” is terrible. I hope it went over like a fart in church.

Only by pandering to the crowd can you still keep getting the likes, comments, shares you need to stay influential, so its the crowd that influences you. Your brand image — who the audience expects you to be — rarely stays in alignment with your ideal image — the person you want to be. By chasing the approval of others, you may, in the end, lose the approval of yourself.

This phenomenon is called audience capture, and it can have dire consequences...

Pathetic “walking it back” followed by obnoxious remarks from a bad winner. Everyone involved is an embarrassing human being.

[–] [email protected] 12 points 2 months ago (1 children)

He probably received death threats

[–] [email protected] 12 points 2 months ago (1 children)

You're probably right, but I thought he was a big, strong, man. What happened?

[–] [email protected] 11 points 2 months ago

A bunch of morons fighting over each other

[–] [email protected] 10 points 2 months ago

It is the cowards way.

[–] [email protected] 7 points 2 months ago

I'm glad we agree on something, Rogan is definitely not someone to take political, or any, advice on.

  • "I'm not the guy to get information from," Rogan said in a social media post.

Fixed it!

[–] [email protected] 3 points 2 months ago

It's almost like conservatives are just mealy-mouthed little bitches with no personal convictions.

[–] [email protected] 3 points 2 months ago

Chicken ass bitch

[–] [email protected] 2 points 2 months ago

Cause he realized no one would listen to him.

[–] [email protected] 2 points 2 months ago

They are made for each other.

[–] [email protected] 2 points 2 months ago (1 children)

Joe Rogan deletes his reddit comments when they get more downvotes than upvotes.
