I didn't realize that using webp was an option until your reply. I actually looked through the Lemmy documentation once to try to determine what to use.
For what it's worth it shows up as a big blank space for me on Sync. It plays when I tap on the space to view it by itself though.
oh! I was wondering why I'd see those on my phone.
