When opening links in comments, it collapses the comment.

Additionally, links in comments can take 30-60s to open after tapping them. When long pressing and then tapping open in browser, the link opens immediately. Similar behavior observed when opening some link posts - tapping post to open the link can take a while, while directly selecting the option is almost immediate.

This also means that several copies of the link open up and must each individually be closed

+1

I also have this lag behavior when clicking links. It takes between one and three seconds. Moto Edge+ w/Firefox as default browser.

For me it can take a full 30+ seconds sometimes, to the point where I'll think I missed and click multiple times and have it open multiple times over top of each other.

I've been trying to figure out that bug for a while. It's not just Boost, I also see it occasionally from Chrome PWAs too. It's like Android is trying to lookup an app to open it into and has to wait for something to timeout before it finally launches it in a browser. It's super weird.

I tried disabling instant apps and other things I could think of that would be involved, nothing seems to fix it. It's so weird.

THANK you!! I thought it was just me!

It's worse when you miss click, keep scrolling, and suddenly get random link popping up. Though yes, having the same thing pop up several times is quite bad
