Even just an option to set the primary app theme color based on Material You would be nice, but the option to use surface colors from Material You would be nice as well.

Not asking for any changes to the design or layout (Android mode is perfect) just specifically the Material You colors

Once Ionic implements I will add. Not holding my breath though!

That state of that bug is disappointing, I see now why it isn't implemented in this app. No worries, hopefully the Ionic team will prioritize it by the time Google replaces it with a brand new version lol

Thanks for replying!

If Material You is implemented, could the current theme settings still be made available? At least if it's too much effort to maintain it.

I imagine it would be just another theme option, not replacing anything else

You're probably right. Unfortunately, you can't always assume that. Some apps have completely replaced the old theme with Material You. And since not everyone likes Material You, I asked about this possibility.

This would be great

I would also love a sepia color theme. Having a tan/beige background with dark brown accent colors would be really nice to use. I love these colors on reader modes in web browsers.
