The funds come from the state’s tax-funded Economic Equity Investment Program, a program that aims to build economic equity for disadvantaged people, which allocated a $692,775 grant to Hacienda.

So, like, the cost of a single house in Portland?

There are bigger issues to worry about.

There are always bigger issues to talk about. Regardless of subject. Doesn't mean we shouldn't talk about other issues.

Meh, I came across some interesting articles, and this community is lacking content, so thought I'd post some content to help them out.

This sounded outrageous so I checked their website: https://www.haciendacdc.org/news-updates/statement-from-hacienda-community-development-corp-ceo-1

Supposedly you need 2/5 criteria to be eligible, and only one of those includes citizenship, so American citizens do qualify if they meet 2/4.

@[email protected] where ya at friend? Where’s your reply to the fact check? Digging up other articles blatantly lying about the state of things in the country?

I have no reply. I didn't write the article. I came across it, found it interesting, and posted it.

I'm not "digging" up anything.

What reason would I have to lie about the state of things in the country? I'm not part of that news organization anyway.

If you disagree with the information in the article, write to the editor/writer of the article.

Were you under the impression that I wrote this article?
