You're probably on point with the branding (and that's probably why Nintendo reportedly delayed their official announcement when Sony announced the PS5 Pro).

Only if they can keep the drifting joysticks.

Source: bitter owner of a switch, will not consider this due to Nintendo’s response to defective design/hardware (never fixed it) and the lawsuit happy attitude they had towards fans (banning streams, tournaments, etc.)

I meant the Joycons seem to magnetically attach to the Switch instead of sliding into a rail.

That’s fine, but doesn’t address the failing part inside the controller that Nintendo kept for years after knowing it was defective.
