I get don't get percentages but the absolute number of up and down votes when hovering over the post arrows, both on https://infosec.pub and on https://sh.itjust.works.

It gives the same thing along with percentages on sh.itjust.works. I wondered why they didn't have it. How long has that been there?

I just looked into the preferences for my infosec.pub-account. There's a setting to show percentages which is disabled by default. As I couldn't see percentages when visiting your instance, I'd assume that it's also disabled by default there. Maybe you enabled that setting at some point and forgot about it?

Probably, but I didn't even know it showed anything when you hover over the arrows. You'd think I would have seen it before. They just did an update at my instance, maybe it triggered something.

That might be useful some time; thanks.

Unfortunately, knowing this makes it harder to ignore downvotes on completely uncontroversial posts where a small minority apparently just want to rain negativity on other people's enjoyment of things. Sigh... social media.
