This was the best segment of the bunch, and among other fun gems no less. It showed skilled blending of conspiracy tropes with fresh takes on cosmic elements. I hope we see more from Alanah in the horror genre soon, she was a good fit.

"cosmic horror... is a subgenre of horror fiction and weird fiction that emphasizes the horror of the unknowable and incomprehensible more than gore or other elements of shock... themes of cosmic dread, forbidden and dangerous knowledge, madness, non-human influences on humanity, religion and superstition, fate and inevitability, and the risks associated with scientific discoveries... the sense that ordinary life is a thin shell over a reality that is so alien and abstract in comparison that merely contemplating it would damage the sanity of the ordinary person, insignificance and powerlessness at the cosmic scale..."

Fun is the word I'd use for the whole package, and definitely agree on this being the best one. The ending of this segment was very cool.
I can't wait to see this 🤩
Stoked for this! V/H/S/ has had an interesting evolution with Alien segments. V/H/S/ 1 had kids with bags on their heads (The Sick Thing That Happened to Emily When She Was Younger), then V/H/S/ 2 really stepped it up with dogo cam (Slumber Party Alien Abduction).
Will watch. Thanks for the suggestion.
