No way, never. That's just not who I am.

A "little bit" doesn't begin to cover it...

[–] [email protected] 6 points 1 year ago

LOL, agreed! I'm only ever a "little bit stoned" when I first wake up in the morning - and the first round of bong hits sorts that right out!

[–] [email protected] 18 points 1 year ago

I wasn’t before but you’ve inspired me. I’m easily influenced.

Yes. Loading up No Man's Sky. My wife just cleaned my piece for me. She's so thoughtful and loving. Gonna take a couple tokes of fresh green from a clean bubbler as this planetary system finishes loading.

I'm back from outer space lol

[–] [email protected] 4 points 1 year ago (2 children)

Very nice. Do you need a paid subscription to PSN to really play that game?

[–] [email protected] 5 points 1 year ago (3 children)

I’m thinking about getting my parents, both in their 70s, a pair of oculus quests so they can explore the galaxy together.

They will be.

Dad is, she’s not. She’s all about new things though. She microdoses mushrooms regularly, travels a lot, likes wearable gadgets.

You are a good offspring. (Son? Daughter?) It has been my dream since I was little to go into space. VR NMS would be the closest I'd ever get. If you did this for me as your parent, you will have won at being the best child ever.

Would definitely see if they get motion sick first

If you play it on PC it's just a one-time purchase - all the online features are provided free on Steam or GoG. And the actual universe is cross-platform, so you can still play with friends on consoles!

From everything I'm seeing, it's more stable in PC, too, depending on the type of toaster you're trying to play it on. Definitely invest in s good PC and keep it spec'd up. Makes it nice for other games, too.

I'm not, but have a good one!

[–] [email protected] 5 points 1 year ago* (last edited 1 year ago) (1 children)

I had a friend when I was younger we called blaze. He stayed high.

[–] [email protected] 4 points 1 year ago

Good to see around man

[–] [email protected] 8 points 1 year ago

I’m not but I’ll fix that soon. Just got home from work.

[–] [email protected] 8 points 1 year ago (2 children)

I have viral brain fog if that counts.

[–] [email protected] 4 points 1 year ago (1 children)

As in from COVID? I'm really sorry about that.

[–] [email protected] 2 points 1 year ago

No, it's alright, it's not covid-related. I did have covid in the past but that's all done.

[–] [email protected] 2 points 1 year ago (3 children)

Oh shit that sucks. What virus? Are you eating antiviral foods?

[–] [email protected] 4 points 1 year ago (6 children)

Is there a popular /c/trees anywhere yet?

[–] [email protected] 4 points 1 year ago

But if white widow earlier. But of strawberry cough also earlier but less earlier.

[–] [email protected] 3 points 1 year ago

Not yet but you just reminded me. Now where did I put that pipe?

[–] [email protected] 3 points 1 year ago (2 children)

I wish my tolerance wasn't so high and that it helped the pain more.

[–] [email protected] 2 points 1 year ago

Yeah weed doesn't help with pain whatsoever for me. Kratom does though. And that also helps with sleep. A nice tall glass of kratom powder mixed with water right before bed is great

[–] [email protected] 2 points 1 year ago (2 children)

Maybe a better balance with CBD? Try mixing different strains together, sometimes the properties work together better than any single strain. Unfortunately this is going to vary depending on your local grows, what options you have available, and your particular type of pain. I know what helps me sleep at night is vastly different from what my wife uses for daily pain.

Also it does help to take a day off now and then to let your system purge so you don't completely insensitive to the benefits. Definitely a hard day to get through, but it makes a difference.

[–] [email protected] 3 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Am I the only one who gets 0 benefits from CBD?

[–] [email protected] 2 points 1 year ago

Agreed.

I keep my tolerance (and intake) low. I don't care about getting high, I just need to sleep better. I occasionally have some when it's not right before bed if I'm having a bad day re mental health but keep that a very, very low levels. I liken it to having a single beer.

When you do this, you get the health benefits (physical and mental) without negative effects, or at least that is how it works for me.

[–] [email protected] 3 points 1 year ago

You don’t even know how high I can fly

[–] [email protected] 3 points 1 year ago

No, but I was definitely more than a little tipsy when I came into work tonight.

[–] [email protected] 3 points 1 year ago

Tentatively raises hand...

[–] [email protected] 3 points 1 year ago* (last edited 1 year ago)

If I’m home, I’m stoned. If I’m at work, I’m only β€œa little bit” stoned!

[–] [email protected] 2 points 1 year ago

Me? Always. Where's the Lemmy r/trees community?

[–] [email protected] 2 points 1 year ago

Not right now, but I will tomorrow I promise

[–] [email protected] 2 points 1 year ago

Me! + a bit of hard cider in the mix

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Anything more than like 2.5mg seems to put me in a dysfunctional state where my short term memory is just… idk how to describe it other than completely and utterly fucked.

Idk if it’s just my genes, or ADHD or both, but my wife can tank edibles even as the petite little thing she is.
