Health officials are investigating an E. coli outbreak linked to McDonald's Quarter Pounders in multiple states, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said Tuesday.

It's not yet known which ingredient in the hamburgers is making people sick. Slivered onions and quarter-pound beef patties, both of which are specifically used for Quarter Pounders, are being looked at.

Go get an actual burger. I haven’t had a McDonald’s burger in a decade because there’s so many better options (that are cheaper even). There’s no reason to go to McDonald’s

First time I've bought a burger in the school cafeteria, I considered just throwing it out after the first bite. 15 years later I still sometimes crave the cheap patty and gummy bun with ketchup... and pieces of raw cabbage.
