The amount of time, money, and effort these groups will put into fighting to make the law benefit their business model instead of just, I don't know, innovating or not needing endless growth maybe, is so pathetic.
For the "creative" industry their executives are really unimaginative.
They'll make up all kinds of bullshit for you to deal with.
They put DRM into cables.
And coffee.
Always the inevitable outcome of consolidation. The less they fear customers leaving the less they care period. No innovation. No pro consumer benefits. Just cash grabs and bullshit.
Endless growth will kill us all. I can't tell you how much I detest these "concerns".
