Me making big talk: So, what keeps you going? ...like how do you not just kill yourself.
You know what? You're fucking right.
brb
Have you returned from the afterlife yet?

I honestly don't understand this kind of talk - like suicide is the default behaviour and everything else is what we do to distract ourselves from it. Is this some kind of Gen Z joke I'm too Gen X to get?
I’m a fan of this method, lol.
When I can muster it, I treat small talk like a game rather than something to try and get out of. I have to listen for any clues that tell me how I can take the conversation from the tutorial stage to the next level. Once I think I’ve got a clue to go off, I can ask another question about the topic to see if it gets the other person talking about something deeper.
But it’s a tough game to play!
I've used this approach and I've had 3 hour lectures(not conversations) because of that. Never again will I entertain their topics.
Why can't I find more people like you to talk to?? Most interesting conversation I've had in a while was geeking out about RC planes with a fellow ADHD person but that type of thing is SO rare for some reason.
Is that a dead Aquillian prince? For some reason I know this is not from MIB but that's all I can see. What is this actually from?
Arquilian iirc. And I had the same though. It's like that alien is trying to tell others where the galaxy is.
I've definitely seen that before but I can't remember where. Cocoon (1985) comes to mind, but I'm not sure
