It does seem nice here. The only thing I'm a little uncertain of is the restriction on Community creation, but the staff seem to be very responsive to requests so that's probably okay.
Chat
Relaxed section for discussion and debate that doesn't fit anywhere else. Whether it's advice, how your week is going, a link that's at the back of your mind, or something like that, it can likely go here.

I like that Beehaw is smaller. It reminds me more of an old web forum, which are the days I really miss.
I think it's nice to actually have human-scale communities. On reddit, you never or rarely ever talked with a person - you know?
I like it so far as well. Once some apps get more fleshed out, that will be the next step. Figuring out which one I like most for browsing!
Thunder for sure.
I downloaded a bunch and are trying them out. Wefwef is nice as I was a big time Apollo user.
I like Mlem as well, but wish there was a quicker way to get to the sidebar to see my individual subs.
Small instances are like small towns, almost villages. You know everybody and everybody knows you, which makes things easier to stay and harder when you need/have to leave. But good vibes are everywhere, and interactions area abundant.
I hope that Lemmy and Kbin (as services) will have many millions of users. But I also hope that no instance will have more than one million users, or even more than one hundred thousand users.
We really are here for a reason! We got to pick an instance after all, and this is where we want to be because it resonates with us. That'll surely lead to a tighter friendlier place!
Pretty much perfect!
Well I already feel like a part of it as people here even had a introduction spot and that makes it feel real
Yeah it's a nice place with a nice bunch of people. Welcome btw :)
Thanks, as I said I feel good and welcome here 🥰
