I'm looking something the can download mp3 from Spotify. All the direct download sites in the mega thread don't have what I'm looking for. All the web app just scrap youtube and keep getting wrong songs or covers. And I'm to stupid to get any of the pc apps to work with out a step by step guide.

It's not Spotify but deemix has been the best thing I've used in a long time.

Seconding this, it's not being developed anymore but you can still get the program off archive.org

I didn't know it wasn't being developed anymore. Thanks for that info. I've been running it in docker on my home server for a long while and it still shows up that it has updates every once in a while. Suppose I should do more due diligence into it so I'm not screwing myself somehow.

Updates are only auto-uodates on the gitlab repo, nothing to worry about.

I just set it up with lidarr-on-steroids and it's phenomenal.

For music I use soulseek through nicotine+. After installing the latter it was all pretty straightforward.

Link for those interested: zotify.xyz.

It's CLI based and has lots of options for bulk downloads or searching individual songs/albums/artists to download.

SpotiFlyer is the one I keep around, though I don't use it much. I just remember coming across it on Reddit and it works well.

There's another app named soundbound from the same developer...Need to install extensions to download songs from different sources..

[–] [email protected] 5 points 1 year ago

You can use Spotrip. The original developer made his code private in fear of DMCA takedowns, but there are a few forks around.

Spotifyer or Soundbound over Android.

Forget Spotify and use Soulseek instead, they're very likely to have what you're looking for. Allavsoft can download from Spotify but if you use Soulseek, use it instead.

Hmm I used to use a Telegram bot but for Deezer, I wonder if it still works 🤔

DoubleDouble.top

It’s not the most stable but when it works it works really well.

I’d be interested in answer to this that allow downloading podcasts from Spotify as well. I’d like to get all of the armchair expert episodes on there so I can load them into the same app I use for all of my other podcasts.

There is this app for Android, you paste link form Spotify but it uses YT to download song. I don't know is this what are you looking for but it may help.
