Ok, I probably am. But is this not just a form of sales and marketing? Like, how bad is it really? I’m not religious or worried about being damned. I’m also not trying to make a mockery of anyone’s religion or culture, just that my restaurant is extremely influenced by this religion and I want to maximize my tips.

If I’m honest about it to my coworkers who may potentially ask where I attend services, does it really matter?

Sounds like a good idea. Just be prepared to take it all the way.

Customer: “Oh honey it’s good to see a woman of faith in this restaurant.”

You: “Oh thank you my faith is important to me.”

Customer: “Where do you attend church?”

You: “I don’t currently attend because I work here.”
