You can pet the dog in Skyrim.
Nice. I recently discovered Styx, a companion wolf. The default is a spectral wolf but there's also an option for normal fur. She starts out as a puppy and will grow up as time goes on.
Having a little pup follow me around and howl everywhere is the cutest darn thing ever.
A great mod, definitely needs to be in your load order.
