The first K-pop song I heard was most likely Gangnam Style; I think it's the first K-pop song everyone heard lol.
kpop
For all things kpop!
Haha.
I had actually heard Rain when Ninja Assassin came out in 2009, not sure what song we listened to though. Then BIGBANG won the EMAs in 2010 with Tonight and I really liked that.
very true. I just try to forget that time period. thanks for reminding me again /s
My most listened to song was Adelyn Paik - Cupid, by a country mile. Over 30 times and my next most listened to song had 3 spins.
Top 3 artists are Adelyn Paik, Baekhyun, and Le Sserafim.
No Korean outside of the odd word here or there.
I'd say I got into kpop in 2013, but I'd known of it/liked it for years prior.
I do listen to OSTs. My favs are probably Chen & Suho - Beautiful Accident or Chen - Rainfall. But honestly, there are so many good ones, it's hard to pick a favorite.
Edit: Actually, I had to look it up, but my favorite OST would be EXO-CBX - Crush U. I was thinking it was on one of their albums, but it was actually part of the Blade & Soul soundtrack.
I haven't been listening to much k-pop this week. I guess Chanmina might count, but I've been listening to the j-pop stuff. Otherwise Black Sabbath. Some Ash-B too, but not much
As always, let me know if these posts suck and I can stop. Also let me know if you'd rather do it on a different day of the week
Personally, I really like these posts, and I think they add a bigger sense of community here! I think it'd be great if these posts were pinned, for greater visibility, but that's up to the mod :)
I like the posts. Mondays are as good a day as any other.
