Rules
AI Art: While we appreciate AI generated art, there are more appropriate communities to post that type of art to. Please keep posts to non-AI generated art only. This rule includes AI art that was then manually manipulated (e.g. drawing on top of something generated by AI).
Nudity: Nudity is and has always been a part of art, but it may be something that some users don't wish to see or cannot view in certain circumstances (e.g. at work). If your work contains nudity, please mark it as NSFW. Work that contains nudity that is not marked as NSFW will be taken down. As long as the NSFW tag is used, we welcome nude subject matter.
Spam: Please do not spam this community. Self promotion is fine if you just want people to be aware of your work, but blatant attempts at spam will result in the past being removed and possibly a ban. If you aren't sure if what you are posting is spam, please contact the moderator first.
Conduct: Be nice, and don't be a jerk. Constructive criticism is OK, but don't be mean. Encouragement is always welcomed.
That's Sir. Glen to you
Definitely my favourite character! Loved his music theme as well
Forg!
Forg.
Probably my favorite Chrono Trigger character.
Ah, yes, the one the US localization team chose to give a phony old English accent despite nobody else in 600AD talking that way.
The "US localization team" was literally just one guy named Ted Woolsey and they gave him 30 days to translate and localize the entire game.
Edit: Given that fact, I think I can forgive him for making such an odd decision. He was probably sleep deprived and under a lot of stress. He did his best.
Their choice was correct, KNAVE.
To be fair, the "present", Guardia Fair was in 1000AD, so it's not the worst approximation of "400 years before present".
Okay, but nobody else in 600AD spoke like that.
Believe it or not - nobody else in 600AD was a walking, talking frog, either.
He wasn't born that way, either. Did Magus also curse him to talk like someone at a Renaissance festival or something?
Yes, yes he did
Oh, Janus, you're such a scamp!
Glen was a mallninja weeb long before he was a frog.
Plausible.
He a little confused, but he got the right spirit.
Been playing Chrono Trigger for the first time and I am loving it
