My favorite camping knife is a $10 one-piece steel buck knife, because I’m not afraid to hit it with a rock when I need to split wood with it

Interesting choice with the pattern welded/"Damascus" steel. That's quite a looker, and although I don't take any of my lookers camping, it'd be a boring old world if we were all the same.
