Sure hope the keyboard is fixed and I can withdraw from my Apple Savings again

Edit: it’s fixed!

Can confirm as well that it’s fixed. This was an annoying bug for the opposite reason for me. I just wanted to deposit.

The keyboard has been the bane of my existence

Safari feels snappier! 👌

So far 9to5Mac has noticed song credits in Apple Music. I’m downloading the beta right now myself.

Keyboard is still getting in the way :(

Really hope battery life got better as well as the keyboard

Is it worth checking out now in your opinions?

[–] [email protected] 8 points 1 year ago (1 children)

I personally haven’t had any app compatibility issues since the beta began. Its biggest issue for me has been keyboard bugginess, but that seems to have mostly been resolved in the latest beta 3 release. I’ve seen years when the beta breaks tons of things, this doesn’t appear to be one of those years.

In terms of overall functionality though, is it worth doing the upgrade now or just waiting for the full release though? Anything of note that’s especially scale-tipping?

It’s just a ton of little quality of life enhancements that add up to a nicer experience. I don’t need to create a list, there are tons of iOS 17 write ups all over the place, but I’m glad I’m on the beta, it’s always fun to watch the builds mature and see little changes as we approach RC in the fall. Being “worth it” is completely subjective, right.

Very true, thought I’d learn about your subjective experience with it so far ^_^ good to hear you’ve been enjoying it so far.

Can’t say I’ll download it if nothing major was done, looking forward to those QOL improvements soon!

Interesting, no watchOS 10 beta 3 yet!

I had to turn off Developer Beta in the Watch app and turn it back on to get the update, same with WatchOS beta 2, but updated successfully

That worked for me, thank you!!! I wouldn’t have guessed to toggle the dev beta option

How long before the public beta comes out?

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

I don’t know if it’s this beta or something else, but my stickers haven’t been working. When I tap on stickers it just pulls up a blank page. Additionally, some third party sticker apps just aren’t showing up at all and the edit option (for removing iMessage apps) is missing. Maybe one of my apps is screwing with it somehow, but I haven’t heard of anyone else having these issues.

Anyone else having camera issues? It’s replaying the snap animation every couple seconds or something.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

Has anyone else’s stock Mail app started crashing after hanging on a white (or black screen if in dark mode) since updating to beta 3?

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

Using it on all my most critical devices like a genius. So far it has been shockingly stable.
